Voz en Vuelo. 2017

The BAAN art gallery in collaboration with NM Contemporaneo is pleased to present the exhibition Voz en Vuelo by Mónica Mariscal; is through painting which reflects the intensity of colors, textures, with lines that are diluted within an abstract composition.

Extensive humanistic preparation: Philosophy and postgraduate studies in Humanities; later she is in charge of the Department of Diffusion and Activities of the Museum of Modern Art of Mexico City, where she is intensely related to the visual arts. From the 90’s she lives in Cuernavaca; is part of the workshop of Roger Von Gunten and studies drawing of human figure and watercolor in the Morelense Center of the Arts with the master Enrique Cattaneo. In 1993 she studied painting with Thomas Nash at Savage Mill, Maryland; she also participates in the intensive course taught by Brian Shure (Master Printer) of the Crown Point Press in San Francisco, California.
