Carlos Garcia (Havana, Cuba 1959). He currently lives and works in Mexico City, his work moves between both abstract and figurative forms of representation. Symbolic landscapes swing between vital and provocative fantasies. Graduated in 1979 at the legendary San Alejandro Academy in La Havana, he studied at the Instituto Superior de Arte in La Havana and obtained his masters degree in Visual Arts at the Massachusetts College of Art. Carlos García de la Nuez has exhibited in Russia, Germany, United States , Italy, Brazil, France, Costa Rica, Mexico and Cuba, among other nations.

He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of San Alejandro and the Instituto Superior de Arte in Habana, in 1979 and 1983 respectively. In 1988 finished his master’s degree in Visual Arts from the Massachusetts College of Art.
