Alejandro Santiago (Teococuilco of Marcos Perez, Oax.1964 – 2013). Santiago’s works are an explosion of color. Forms, shapes, textures and brushstrokes in apparent chaos, are, however, in harmony. His pieces reveal very personal experiences in the artist’s life, in which very close women are involved such as his daughter, his wife, his grandmother and other women not very immediate, but who somehow had an influence on him.
