lberto Montaño’s artistic production arises from a clear awareness of the constant re-creation of his works through the viewer. The artist understands that his work will travel through the gaze of those who contemplate it, passing through their minds, shaped by their life stories and the countless inner worlds that inhabit those who receive it. Perfectly situated in his historical and social context, Alberto Montaño carves a path through the appreciation of spectators to stir consciences, question perceptions and beliefs, and perhaps awaken ideas and reveal broader horizons.
