NM Contemporary Gallery presents workshop / laboratory photo book artist. A project of visual artist Rene Diaz, which approximates the book concept artist from a converged hybrid with the photographic image. With the development of a personal project that stems from one or more pieces by student, it is proposed to open a field of debate, advice and production of works composed of both art forms. Each project will be under the consultation and research of audiovisual documents and texts. Students learn to solve with different outputs conducting a photo artist’s book (analog or digital), from practical exercises in class. The main objective is to get to know members of the workshop theoretical and practical interdisciplinary possibilities of carrying out a project focused on the production of this type of work.
