Zubillaga work is self-referential, intended metaphorically describe the emotional states that the body manifests. Her work has to do with the duel established in the bonding of their environment; in this conflict, use the representation of the body as the boundary between the inner and outer world.
In the past two years, she has been working with the representation of human skin as a leading element from painting and drawing. The skin is understood as a symbol of affection and fragility. In her pieces, representing the meat is approached to discuss the abandonment of the body: its fragility, its decomposition, deformation and frivolity we deal with this element belongs to us.
